Refund Policy.

Our principle

We do not believe in trapping members in programs they do not want to be in. We also do not believe in giving away the founder’s time for free after it has been delivered. Every refund policy below balances those two principles.

If you have a genuine grievance (if you feel misled, if a program was substantively different from what was advertised, if circumstances changed in a way that requires good-faith resolution), email hello@tradeforchrist.com directly. We will respond within 72 hours and we will reach a reasonable outcome together. The policies below are the default; the founder reserves the right to extend grace beyond them on a case-by-case basis.

Sword Bearer (recurring monthly subscription)

Cancel anytime. You may cancel your Sword Bearer subscription at any time through your Stripe billing portal or by emailing us. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period.

No mid-month refunds. Once a monthly charge has been processed, that month is yours. You retain access to all Sword Bearer benefits for the remainder of the month you have paid for. No prorated refunds for cancelling mid-month.

Founder pricing lock. If you cancel and later wish to rejoin, you will rejoin at the then-current public rate, not your original founder rate. Founder pricing requires continuous good-standing membership.

Failed payment. If your payment fails, Stripe will retry per its standard dunning schedule. If all retries fail, your membership lapses and you may re-enroll at the public rate.

Catholic Trader Audit ($750, single 90-minute session)

Full refund within 24 hours of purchase, provided no session has been scheduled or conducted yet.

Rescheduling. You may reschedule your session up to 24 hours before the scheduled start time at no charge. Reschedules requested less than 24 hours before the session forfeit the session fee.

No refund after the session is conducted. Once the 90-minute session has been delivered, the fee is non-refundable.

Recording. All audit sessions are recorded and the recording is sent to you within 48 hours. The recording is yours to keep regardless of any subsequent cancellation of other services.

Catholic Trader Cohort ($2,500 or $850 × 3 monthly installments, 8-week group program)

Full refund minus 10% processing fee within 7 days of cohort start, provided you have attended no more than 1 live session. After day 7 or after attending 2 or more sessions, no refund is issued.

Installment plan. If you selected the 3-installment payment plan, you are responsible for all three installments even if you choose to discontinue participation. The price is for access to the full 8-week cohort; partial participation does not reduce the obligation.

Cohort transfer. If unforeseen circumstances prevent you from completing your cohort (medical emergency, family bereavement, deployment), you may request transfer to a future cohort within 12 months at no additional cost. Request transfer in writing within 14 days of the qualifying event.

Founding cohort pricing. If you are part of a Founding Cohort and request transfer, your transfer carries your Founding pricing forward.

Kingdom Builder ($7,500 Founding / $10,000 Regular, 12-week 1-on-1 program)

Full refund minus $1,000 (or 15% of fee paid, whichever is greater) within 7 days of program start, provided you have completed no more than 1 weekly session. The deduction covers the application, interview, audit prep, and administrative time already invested.

Pro-rata refund through week 4. If you discontinue the program between weeks 2 and 4 inclusive, you will receive a refund of the unused weeks minus 25% of the total fee. Calculation: (weeks remaining / 12) × total fee, then subtract 25% of total fee.

No refund after week 4. After the start of week 5, the program fee is fully non-refundable. By week 5 the trade audit, the Rule of Life draft, and the Capital Blueprint foundation have all been delivered and the program is substantively complete in its foundational phase.

Founding seat pricing. Founding seats are locked at the founding rate. If you discontinue and later wish to re-enter, you will re-apply at the then-current rate. Founding pricing does not survive cancellation.

Installment plan. If you selected the 3-installment payment plan, the same refund schedule above applies. Future installments may be paused or refunded per the schedule.

Founder discretion. If the founder discontinues a Kingdom Builder relationship at his discretion (for example, doctrinal incompatibility surfaced post-acceptance, member conduct violates Terms, etc.), the unused weeks will be refunded pro-rata without the 25% penalty.

Application fees

There is no application fee for Catholic Trader Cohort or Kingdom Builder. The application is free to submit. Payment is only required upon mutual acceptance after interview.

How to request a refund

Send an email to hello@tradeforchrist.com with:

• The name on the account
• The email used at signup
• Which program you are requesting a refund for
• The reason (helpful for us to improve; not required)

We respond within 72 hours. Approved refunds are processed within 5-7 business days via the original payment method.

Chargebacks

If you have a refund concern, contact us first. Initiating a Stripe or credit-card chargeback without first communicating with us is considered a violation of these terms and may result in immediate removal from all TradeForChrist services without further refund consideration. The guild is real; we will hear you out.
